Project Description
A showcase for Montréal talen, which will introduce us to a performance by Christian Sean; mix table and samplers!
MIX_MAPP is a series of audiovisual performances from a portable, self-contained lithium battery station by the cultural organization MAPP_MTL. Adapted for the context of the pandemic and designed to be deployed with ease in public places, these performances offer a brief moment of digital entertainment to residents.
An initiative of
MAPP is offering a showcase for Montréal talent while democratizing and promoting the development of video mapping. MAPP offers creative workshops within the reach of all, and opening a real participative dialogue between residents, artists and their neighborhoods, MAPP positions itself as an active and involved player in the influence of this emerging practice.
These cultural mediation activities invite a visual artist to initiate participants to the creation of animations that will then be projected on the walls of the neighborhood.
MAPP‘s international network now extends to Tokyo, Nantes and soon Marseille… This network accelerates collaboration between cities and exchanges between creators.
