Project Description

Dare to create

This workshop bridges the gap between traditional and digital manufacturing. The activity consists of making leather pompoms and bracelets. The participants will cut the leather using the vinyl cutter by choosing the pre-registered patterns and then manually finish the object.

An initiative of

Centre des métiers du cuir de Montréal
From the outset, the mission of the CMCM has been to promote and enhance the leather trades and to represent the know-how of its artisans in Québec and on the international scene. As a post-secondary educational institution, we devote our efforts to education, research and promotion of the leather trades.
Today, the Center is increasing its education and training initiatives accessible to the general public. Whether it is evening classes, special workshops or advanced training of masters taught by experts, the Center relentlessly builds its growing community of artisans.
